About You and Me
From news stories to love stories, I've been a professional storyteller my entire career.
I've worked as a TV and radio journalist and newsreader, voice artist, professional speaker and emcee, and I've written three published books.
I've also taught hundreds of people how to speak powerfully on stages around the world (think TEDx, Google, Disney, Cannes Lions and AdWeek).
I'm a pretty good storyteller and I'm very comfortable standing up the front with a microphone in my hand :)
I turn the words you tell me about your relationship into a beautiful ceremony. I don't express my own ideas about love, and I don't use cliches or preach about what love means (no cringe guaranteed).
I'm known for my voice. People often tell me that my voice is warm and calm and makes them feel what I'm talking about. Along with your love, excitement, and the joy surrounding you on your big day, the way I speak creates the feels in ceremonies much more than what I say.
I love short ceremonies. They're less stressful and more intimate, and couples find it easier to be present and enjoy every moment (rather than realising and regretting later that they don't remember what happened during their ceremony).
I met the love of my life in my forties. He's worth everything it took along the way to find him. I'm a mum to a young adult daughter and a black cat.

Making it special, keeping it relaxed and easy
Your wedding is one of the most special days of your life. It might be the only time you stand up in front of family and friends (if you choose to do it that way) and declare your love to one another so openly. It's exciting, it can be nerve-wracking, and there's no "take two."
From the moment we first speak, until that magical moment that you're announced as married, I'm committed to making our process of working together as easy, stress-free and enjoyable as possible.
I take pride in writing your love story so that it sounds exactly like you, and will be meaningful and memorable.
On your wedding day I'll help you keep calm, relaxed and fully present, so you can enjoy every moment. I'll also professionally present your ceremony, with all the feels guaranteed.
I'll probably have a tear in my eye too because I'm that immersed and in your love story and that happy for you.
I'll make sure your day is all about you - not me - and I'll also make sure I'm not in all your photos (especially when you kiss).

You want your ceremony to be a comedy show, or you'd like a celebrant who's loud, over the top, swears and lot, and makes it all about themself - not you.
While I love being on stage I'll make your big day all about you, not me. I won't aim to be the centre of attention. I'll focus on you and your guests.
My presenting style is refined and professional, and exceptionally warm. I'm friendly and fun, and if you want humour and laughs you'll have them.
I want to make sure, when I present your ceremony, that it lands so that you and your guests are moved and feel like you're part of something very special.
